Services
Here are some of the services we offer:
Starting with a thorough medical history, we discuss your personal concerns, skin problems, objectives and any questions you may have about your skin, skincare products and the latest trends and technologies in the field of cosmetic science. We will then analyze your current skincare regime and products to see if they support your short- and long-term skin health objectives.
Using state-of-the-art, multi-spectral imaging, our computer-based analysis reveals damage on and beneath the surface of your skin. A visual observation of your skin is also performed by our scientists to refine the overall analysis.
From your concerns, objectives and results, our cosmetic scientists will build your personalized skincare program, starting with using the right skincare products containing scientifically-proven active ingredients. We will then track treatment progress and outcomes effectively over time.
At SkinScience, we understand that prescription products are often essential to achieve your skincare objectives. However, prescription products can also have undesirable side effects on your skin – that is why your personalized skin care routine will include products to minimize their undesirable side effects, while maximizing your comfort and treatment success.
If we believe your skin might benefit from a product with a deeper range of action than a cosmeceutical, we will be more than happy to refer you to a dermatologist who can discuss treatment options you will feel comfortable with.

Chemical peels which can be applied to the face, chest, back or hands, are a technique in which an exfoliating solution is used to regenerate new skin by peeling off damaged, wrinkled or dry skin. The new skin is smoother, more radiant and less wrinkled after a few treatments have been performed. Peels can be also used to improve sun damaged skin, mild to moderate acne, scarring and age spots.
Before and after pictures with our computer-based system will enable us to track your skin’s improvement over time.

Botox™ is a non-surgical injection that temporarily reduces or eliminates frown lines, forehead creases, crow’s feet and other areas (upper lip, marionette lines, “bunny” lines). Botox treatment blocks the nerve impulses, temporarily paralyzing the muscles that cause wrinkles while giving the skin a smoother, more refreshed appearance.
Botox can also be used in relieving migraine headaches and excessive sweating.
Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) is a procedure which stimulates the skin to produce new collagen fibers, thereby reducing wrinkles and improving skin texture. It is used to create many microscopic channels deep into the skin, which stimulate your own body to produce new collagen. The results of CIT can be softening of fine lines, thickening of skin, reduction of acne scars and improvement of stretch marks.
PDT is a new treatment approved for dermatological use in North America. PDT is a non-invasive treatment and works in conjunction with light or laser sources. PDT provides a remarkable advance in the treatment of sun damaged skin, precancerous spots, rosacea and acne. PDT therapy can also eradicate sun spots that could become skin cancer.
Dermal fillers are substances injected under the skin to give skin a more natural appearance as an alternative treatment to more evasive measures such as a surgical lift. Dermal fillers leave a more natural appearance when it comes to treatments for scars or for skin disorders such as fine lines or wrinkles that are attributed to the aging process.
